Stan Shin

About

Stan Shin is a proven multi-industry leader with broad experience across both federal and commercial markets, recognized for his expertise in Continuous Process Improvement, Six Sigma, Strategy Deployment, Program Management, and Change Management. Mr. Shin employs systems thinking and Lean principles that integrates people, process, and technology to generate maximum value. He initiates consensus-building and cross-collaboration across teams in order to accelerate change adoption as well as stimulate innovation.

Prior to joining BizFlow, Mr. Shin served as Vice President of Transformation and Program Management at Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), where he orchestrated and actively led strategic programs in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Additionally, Mr. Shin’s hands-on leadership and process improvements at PFS were instrumental and directly contributed to the company’s exponential business growth during his tenure at PFS. Notably, Mr. Shin was commended and recognized by multiple VA executive leaders for his impactful contributions in strategic programs management and solutions deployment at the VA Procurement & Logistics Office and the VA National Oncology Program.

Prior to PFS, Mr. Shin held leadership roles at United Health Group (UHG) and at Textron. At UHG, Mr. Shin served as the Director of a Program Management Office (PMO) supporting a $3B business segment, with hands-on leadership of large-scale enterprise-level initiatives and the deployment of Six Sigma across 4 business units. At Textron, Mr. Shin served as a Six Sigma Black Belt and Program Manager, with leadership and management of multiple large-scale transformational initiatives and a high-tech product portfolio. Notably, Mr. Shin is an award-winning Six Sigma Black Belt, recipient of Textron’s “Top Gun” Best Black Belt award.

Mr. Shin is a Veteran, having honorably served in the US Army through the rank of Major. While in the Army, Mr. Shin was dual-tracked as an officer in both the Infantry and Military Intelligence. He graduated with honors from West Point (BS, Systems Engineering and Management), and attained his post-graduate education from Troy University (MS, International Business Management) and Stanford University Graduate School of Business (Executive Program). His credentials and qualifications include Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Six Sigma Black Belt certification, Change Management and Facilitation instructor certification, US Army Expert Infantryman, Airborne, Air Assault, US Army Ranger.
